Shangqiu Normal University provides students with scholarships to lessen their financial burden off university education and to support superior students who might otherwise forgo higher education because of financial constrains. Additionally, both undergraduate and graduate students are provided with accommodations in students dormitories on campus.
Scholarships are given to candidates who have performed extremely well in their academics in the first year of study.
