WHY HONGHE UNIVERSITY?

Honghe University offers an open, relaxed, multicultural campus environment for its teachers and students. It encourages teachers and students to organize and participate in all kinds of activities. The variety of these activities has makes Honghe University unique.

Student activities are conducted in the form of professional societies. As of 2006, more than 20 student societies have been established, such as: Nanhu News Agency, Student Art Ensemble, West Oasis Environment Protection Community, Honghe Literary Community, and Xinyue Psychological Community Consultation.

Regular recreational and sports activities are held at the school. The school also makes the most of the nearby folk culture, natural resources as an opportunity for research. The school also organizes field trips to companies, communities, schools and villages. In addition, it develops activities to enrich the students’ extracurricular practice and voluntary work.
